The world's first ATM was installed in a branch of Barclays in Enfield, North London. Reg Varney, star of "On the Buses", became the first person

as fans wanted to see Reg as he was already a well know star before he became famous for playing Stan Butler
Reg Varney appeared in 'THE PLANK'

Sadlly the plaque does not mention Reg. The fan club will
start a petition to get the plaque to include Reg Varney's name. Please sign the petition below and let's
see if we can get Reg's name on the plaque.
The real 'Wood Green Bus Depot' in North London was
changed into' Luxton Bus Depot; for the making of ON THE BUSES. The Depot was owned by Easter National Bus Company at
the time. Sadly the depot is no longer there but many of the streets around the area look the same as the 70's.
One of the boxes for containg the entire series of ON THE
BUSES on DVD.
